I was worried the braided handle would feel bulky in my hand, but it's actually really comfortable to grip during longer sessions. The lambskin falls somewhere between a soft thud and a real sting, which is exactly the range I wanted.
The leather strings are surprisingly soft against the skin, yet they land with a proper sting when I want them to. The raw cut edges and hand-braided grip make it feel well-crafted for the price, and it's already become my go-to for play.
