The hidden foam cups actually sit smooth under a thin tee, no weird seams showing through. I've washed it three times already and the Italian jersey still feels just as soft, no pilling. The underwire gives real support without poking me by the end of the day.

The Italian jersey is genuinely soft and the underwire gives decent support for a cami you can wear on its own. Only gripe is the silk straps slip a little during the day, so I find myself readjusting them. Still, it's become my go-to under a blazer.
